studentIPNL Autumn Student Outing

IPNL students took a break from their research in early October 2022 to enjoy an autumn outing together. With Hong Kong’s cooler weather providing a welcome reprieve from the summer heat, the event offered a chance for the lab community to recharge and strengthen friendships that form the backbone of collaborative research.
The outing brought together PhD students, research assistants, and visiting scholars from across IPNL’s research groups — from those working on GNSS signal processing and urban positioning to those focused on LiDAR-based mapping and integrity monitoring. These informal gatherings complement the lab’s regular research seminars and group meetings, fostering the kind of open communication that often leads to cross-project insights and new collaboration ideas.
