IPNL at ION Pacific PNT 2026 (Honolulu, April 2026)

Prof. Li-Ta Hsu and members of PolyU IPNL took part in the 2026 ION Pacific PNT Conference in Honolulu, Hawaii in April 2026. ION Pacific PNT is the biennial Pacific-region edition of the Institute of Navigation’s flagship technical conference series, complementing the annual ION ITM (San Diego) and ION GNSS+ conferences.

At this edition Prof. Hsu served as a session chair and speaker, and IPNL members presented their research to the international positioning, navigation and timing community. The trip continued the lab’s sustained engagement with the ION Pacific PNT series — Prof. Hsu has been a recurring contributor at prior editions, including the Honolulu 2019 meeting.

The meeting was also a chance to connect with colleagues from across the region, including friends from Taiwan and fellow members of the navigation community over group dinners.
