talkInvited talk in Suzhou: Humanoid Robots for Rehabilitation (December 2024)
Prof. Li-Ta Hsu was invited to give a talk in Suzhou, China on 14 December 2024 on the topic of humanoid robots for rehabilitation. The talk explored how the lab’s positioning, mapping, and navigation research extends naturally into healthcare-robotics applications — particularly for rehabilitation contexts where precise spatial sensing and predictable trajectory generation matter for patient safety and therapeutic effectiveness.
This direction aligns with the lab’s broader robotics research arc, which has its other anchor at the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society community (the upcoming June 2026 Robot Meets GNSS and Ranging workshop at ICRA 2026 being a flagship example).
