Invited talk at ION Pacific PNT 2019 Honolulu — first US/Pacific invited engagement (April 2019)

Prof. Li-Ta Hsu gave an invited talk at the 2019 ION Pacific PNT Conference in Honolulu, Hawaii, in April 2019. The talk — Modernized Satellite Navigation for Civil Aviation and Autonomous Vehicles — was delivered in the Challenging Navigation Problems 2 session, where Prof. Hsu also served as Session Co-Chair. This Challenging Navigation Problems format was a special 2019-only initiative at ION Pacific PNT and is no longer part of the conference programme.

This was the lab’s first major US / Pacific invited engagement — opening a long-running engagement with the Institute of Navigation community that has since included multi-year recurring roles (Session Chair at ION ITM 2020-2023; Pre-Conference Tutorial Lecturer at ION GNSS+ 2020/2021/2023/2024; ION Council Member + Technical Representative; Associate Editor at NAVIGATION journal).

The Pacific PNT conference is the biennial Pacific-region edition of ION’s flagship technical-conference series.
