First physical visit to i.c.sens Leibniz Hannover (December 2022)

Prof. Li-Ta Hsu made his first physical visit to the i.c.sens DFG Research Training Group at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany, on 6 December 2022. The visit included an invited seminar talk introducing the lab’s research, and laid the groundwork for an ongoing multi-year German collaboration.

The Hannover engagement had started earlier with a virtual invited talk in May 2021 (3D LiDAR Aided GNSS via FGO) under an RGC / DAAD joint funding mechanism. The first physical visit in December 2022 was made possible after the lifting of pandemic-era travel restrictions, and was followed by return engagements: March 2025 (90-min invited talk at i.c.sens on Bridging the Gap: High-Integrity GNSS RTK for Urban Robotics) and continued exchanges into 2026.
