First major European invited talk: ENAC ITSNT 2021 Guest Speaker (June 2021)

Prof. Li-Ta Hsu served as Guest Speaker at the 2021 International Technical Symposium on Navigation and Timing (ITSNT 2021), hosted by ENAC (École Nationale de l’Aviation Civile) in Toulouse, France, on 24 June 2021 (virtual delivery). The talk — AI in GNSS and Collaborative 3D Mapping — covered the lab’s emerging research on machine-learning-aided GNSS positioning and the use of collaborative 3D maps to mitigate urban-canyon NLOS errors.

This was the lab’s first major European invited-speaking engagement — a flagship first-of-kind that set up a series of subsequent European visits in following years (i.c.sens Hannover virtual talk later in 2021; first physical Hannover visit December 2022; Munich SatNav Summit panel-chair role in March 2025).

ENAC is France’s national civil-aviation university and the ITSNT symposium is a long-running technical event in the European navigation community.
