talkFirst European invited-talks trip: UCL + KTH Royal Institute of Technology (August 2018)
Prof. Li-Ta Hsu made his first invited-talks trip to Europe in late July / early August 2018, with back-to-back invited seminars at two leading institutions:
- University College London (UCL) — 31 July 2018. Invited seminar with the Space Geodesy and Navigation Laboratory community at UCL Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering.
- KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm — 6 August 2018. Invited seminar.
Both talks shared the title Challenges and Solutions of GNSS Localization in Urbanized Cities — covering the lab’s emerging research on 3D-Map-Aided GNSS, NLOS/multipath mitigation, and integrated GNSS / INS / LiDAR positioning.
This European trip opened the lab’s long-running engagement with the European navigation research community, which has since expanded to include i.c.sens Leibniz Hannover, TUM Munich, ENAC France (ITSNT 2021), and the Munich Satellite Navigation Summit.
