event8th Asia Workshop on Marine and Aviation Engineering

IPNL participated in the 8th Asia Workshop on Marine and Aviation Engineering (MAE), a regional forum that brings together researchers and engineers working on challenges in marine systems, aviation technologies, and related fields. The workshop provides a platform for exchanging ideas across disciplines that share common technical foundations in navigation, positioning, and autonomous systems.
IPNL members presented their latest research on GNSS-based positioning and navigation, contributing to discussions on how satellite navigation technologies can support both marine and aviation applications. The workshop’s interdisciplinary scope — spanning vessel tracking, unmanned aerial vehicles, and flight navigation systems — aligned closely with IPNL’s expertise in robust positioning under challenging signal environments.

The event provided valuable opportunities to network with researchers from across Asia working on complementary problems, and to explore how urban positioning techniques developed at IPNL could be adapted for marine and airborne platforms where GNSS integrity and reliability are equally critical.
